Dear Residents of Kaggadasapura,

I would like to give few tips for the people using RO water filters.
1. Most of them are not aware that every 9 litres of water filled in the filter 27 lts.of water is getting wasted as I have seen in many residences the waste water pipe is connected to the sink/drain.
2. Solution to this is collect the waste water and use it to clean utensils, car wash, cleaning the house or gardening.
3. On an average one household fills 18 lts. of water you are wasting 54 lts of water approx. If 1000 houses are using the RO filters 54000 lts of water is wasted everyday.
4. So please give a thought not only during this water crisis but on a regular basis.
5. I have intiated it about 2 years back and it's repaying in many ways to cut the cost of water tankers.

This is an request/advice hope everyone understands the water crisis and try to implement it.

This is in the interest of everyone.

Regards,

R.Raj
